On Saturday September 28th we have a Varsity Tournament in Spokane! Below is all the information you need to know about the travel tournament.
The tournament is a 1 day all day tournament on Saturday. Hotel rooms have been reserved for the players for Friday September 27th (paid for by the Boosters).
Players are responsible for their transportation there and back. Note that we may need to move locations during the day - parents would be responsible for transporting their kids to the new location. We do pool play in the morning at one local high school, and we do bracket play in the afternoon which could possibly be at another high school in the Spokane area.
Below is the itinerary for the players who need to arrive no later than 9:30pm for a team meeting at the hotel on Friday.
Parents/Family need to reserve their own rooms. If you wish to stay at same hotel, there is a block of rooms being held until 9/2.
Hotel: Holiday Inn Express Spokane
Office: 509-328-8505
NOTE GONZAGA VOLLEYBALL OPPORTUNITY: For those that would like to go over on Thursday September 26th Gonzaga Volleyball, and our distinguished alumni Krista Kostoff, will be playing Thursday evening at 6pm vs San Diego. Coach Mike has said that your player would be excused from Thursday practice if you plan on attending the Gonzaga game. We reserved the parent block hotel rooms so that you would receive the same rate for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night if you choose to stay Saturday and not drive at night.
Also attached to this email is the LWSD parent field trip consent form and the LWSD authorization for use of private auto. These both need to be completed and turned in to Coach Mike at practice or at parent night on September 4th.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Coach Mike or Ferrol McCartney (mccartney101@outlook.com)
